The path of life’s journey developed a new friendship for we two.
How would we know at the beginning that our footsteps would rubber stamp
To imprint each of our lives to one another?
The road of hard knocks can address the reality of life’s lessons,
And can descend one down to the depths of the valleys below-
To journey us to the pits of our souls.
Our friendship has endured through the span of revolving time.
We are never far apart, although mileage and distance may be.
Similar to telepathic waves flowing between you and me-
How reassuring to know that I can count on our calls by phone,
Email or fax; I am always amazed
When we share through this extension of lines
The similarities and situations of kind.
We seem to parallel one another in the many things we say and do
We two are chosen to demonstrate
And share the true meaning and definition
Of friendship for other’s to view.
How fortunate we are to have one another in our life’s journey!
