Dementia Activities
Inc. provides affordable quality safe and functional
activities for individuals with decreased cognitive
functions.
Alice Keeler founded
Dementia Activities in 2002, after recognizing the
need for a simple, mobile "activity center" for
individuals with decreased cognitive functions
related to Dementia. With over 35 years of
experience in the Health Care Industry and dementia
care, Alice designed, prototyped and tested the
first Fidget Apron! Today, Dementia Activities'
Fidget Aprons are being used in Nursing Homes,
Hospitals and Individuals at home.
"We have seen great results from the usage of these
fidget aprons. They prevent the use of restraints in
that they give clinical staff another alternative
method to try before resorting to restraints.
Patients seem to enjoy having something to do with
their hands. They certainly have been a success!"
Janice Walker, Chief Operating Officer
